(really liked this band until I saw them live in Memphis in the early 70's--they played about six songs, left the stage and refused to come out for an encore even though the crowd clapped for about 20 minutes to try and pull them back out. I don't know if they were mad at the promoter or what, but taking it out on your fans is a great way to lose popularity.)
